The demands made upon marine lifts are very special as anyone acquainted with the sea will know. Vessel movement, vibration fire proofing, escape routes and cable assembly all demand an adapted design.

Dumbwaiters become used for transportation of goods with a maximum load up to 300 Kgs or under special conditions 500 Kgs, between the several decks.

There are two different types:

• Dumbwaiters with bi-parting doors at serving height
• Dumbwaiters with hinged doors at floor level

Trinoxx supplies A60 fire retardant landing doors for passenger lifts, goods lifts and dumbwaiters.
These doors are specially designed as landing doors for lifts for seagoing vessels and yachts. The doors are fabricated according A60 standards as laid down by the International Maritime Organization (IMO Resolution A.754(18) according to the International Convention for Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS).
